A wise old owl sat in an oak
The more he heard, the less he spoke;
The less he spoke, the more he heard;

What's Up Wednesday...
I thought I'd share with my bloggy friends what I've been up to lately...I've had the urge to try something new after reading several blogs about the same...I have a history of making jewelry and doing very minimal wire work but haven't really done anything "real" in a long time...So I decided to start playing with some wire that I have in my old jewelry box...I also pulled out the amazing book Bead on a Wire by Sharilyn Miller...I haven't looked at this book in ages...This was just what I needed to jump start my creative juices...
So what do you think?...I love it...I wore it today to work and got several compliments...A great feeling of accomplishment...Now off to look for more wire so I can play some more...What will be my next project?...Ummm...

Lovely Blog Award...I am honored...

It is time I acknowledge the 2 "One Lovely Blog Awards" I have received over the past month or so...I have to say I am not the "chain letter, chain blog" type but I am so honored to be recognized by my fellow bloggers that I can't pass this up any longer...
The award was given to me by two amazing artists...Dawn Montgomery, her blog FirstLightGlass is one filled with life, craft and love...Visit her blog, etsy shop and artfire shop when you have a chance...The second person to award me this honor was Felicia Kramer, her blog FeliciaKramer is awsome and fun with lots of bright ideas and cool posts...Visit Felicia's etsy shop AnotherBrightIdea, to see some beautiful art, photography and creative designs...

So I'm not sure how this chain works but I think I have to pass the award on to some of my favorite blogs...So here they are, a few of the many blogs that I just love to follow and give this award to...
Stop by and give these blogs some love and a peek...
There are so many more wonderful bloggers out there but I wanted to keep my list to a minimum...
Enjoy...

Happiness...
"Tell everyone you know: "My happiness depends on me, so you're off the hook." And then demonstrate it. Be happy, no matter what they're doing. Practice feeling good, no matter what. And before you know it, you will not give anyone else responsibility for th e way you feel—and then, you'll love them all. Because the only reason you don't love them, is because you're using them as your excuse to not feel good."
